Commentary Conducive To Books Tempestuous (Wondrous Strange #3)

"I don't love Sonny Flannery."

That's the lie Kelley Winslow is told to protect the boy she loves from a power he doesn't know he possesses. Devastated, Sonny retreats to a haven for Lost Fae that's hidden deep underneath New York City.

But Kelley's not about to let things end in heartbreak. To get Sonny back, she's got to find out who's after his magick and how to use her own. She's got to uncover who's recruiting Janus Guards to murderously hunt innocent Faerie. She's got to help rebuild the shattered theater company she called family. And she's got to do it all without getting dangerously distracted by the Fenrys Wolf, whose legendary heart of stone seems to melt whenever he's around Kelley.

The intrigue and romance that began with Wondrous Strange and Darklight come to a stormy head in Tempestuous, the breathtaking conclusion to Lesley Livingston's ravishing urban Faerie trilogy.

Assessment Of Books Tempestuous (Wondrous Strange #3)
Quick Thinking: Although not as magnificent as anticipated, Tempestuous was a satisfying closing to this amazing trilogy! Love is majorly tested...bad guys turning up most unexpectedly...hateful crimes and killings...intense fighting and spell-casting...griping best friends and roommate...Tempestuous carries all of the qualities that made me fall in love with this trilogy to begin with! From a joyous love to an exhilarating whirlwind of a plot all they way down to the humor pouring out of the

The last book of the trilogy and another really good read. These books are loosely based on old characters of the fey who are a part of Kelley's life and of her heritage. As a budding young actress in Shakespeare plays, she fights to understand her powers and to keep Sonny from realizing just who he is. His incredible power and heritage is revealed in the second book, but Kelley has had the memory taken from him to protect him. Was she right in doing this or was it a betrayal of sorts not to

I began to feel irritated at the dramatically self-sacrificing, yet amazingly arrogant heroine. By the final book, she was rather callously making decisions (many of them hopelessly bad) that impacted all those around her, without stopping to consider that they might like a say in their own fate. Then, she gets her happy ending and everyone still adores her. I would have voted her off the island. Why did I read the entire series, you might ask? I made myself read all three books because they

I was so happy to read a trilogy conclusion that was just as good as the previous two books in the series, unlike a lot of other book series I can think of. If you loved Wondrous Strange and Darklight, I would be very very surprised if you didnt like Tempestuous. I was so happy to be back in Kelleys world again and I dont know why I took so long to buy this book!Kelley and Sonny are a cute couple and I LOVE that romance didnt take over the story! Instead our MCs are trying to solve the mystery

A satisfying ending to the trilogy. Didn't see the dragon coming! Kind of Sleeping Beauty almost there at the end. There were plot twists that I did not expect, so I enjoyed being surprised. I like how the whole time Kelley thought she would be Sonny's greatest weakness but in the end she was his greatest strength. Aw. Sweet. :)I like how the parental issues Kelley has with her parents are reunited. I like how Sonny gets to find out who is dad is.I feel bad for Mabh. I know she's wicked, and she

3.5 stars. I liked Tempestuous as much as I liked the first book in the series. There is an innocence to Kelley's and Sonny's love that I enjoyed reading. There are no lustful passages in the book, just a nice pure romance that I find refreshing among the YA fiction of today. I don't know why, but when they met in the first book I thought of Thumbelina and Prince Cornelius in the animated movie Thumbelina. I think the way they seemed so fascinated by each other when they met is what reminded me

I must say that was disappointed at the conclusion of this entertaining series. The first half of the book is really tedious. Kelley dumped Sonny (for his own good) and he wanders lost for a good 100 pages while Kelley is despondent and mopey for the same 100 pages. We finally get some action around page 125. and for a while it was exciting and dangerous. But the ending was rushed and unlikely given the animosity between the Faerie courts. I think this conclusion could have been handled better
