Evaluation Epithetical Books Mystic (The Soul Seekers #3)

This book somehow magically found it's way into my boyfriends Amazon basket when he was purchasing a couple of books I'd asked for my birthday. Neither of us know how it got in there but am glad it did as I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, & can't wait to read Horizon =)

At the first 200 pages, it was boring. There was a TON of fluff chapters, and repeating events, that it felt quite painful to keep reading. However, this book went out with a bang, and you'll have to read it to the end for it to make sense. When I read the end it all came together. Since the focus was mostly on the main characters (Dace, Daire, Lita, etc.), the story acted as a distraction from what was really going on behind the scenes. I finished it in 3 days. I enjoyed the twist and turns, but story was bit stretched.

Ok, I was already skeptical after the first book. My fears have turned out to be justified. This book was terrible. Besides all I have mentioned in my review for the first book, I also need to point out how annoying it was that the whole story races along and leaves us breathless, just to stop at a crucial point and to continue at snail pace. There might be a dagger at your throat, but instead of finishing the business, Noel thinks it reasonable to have the characters engage in more dialogue



I'm not even sure where to start with this book, except to the fact that it was incredible. I feel like we got a huge chunk of character building in this book from Daire and Dace, which, you would think that we wouldve learned everything we need to know already, but omg, there is more and it is intense, just like this book is. And with everything that happens in book two you really need to listen and focus on everything you read in this one, because wow, it takes you on quite the ride. Yes,

The ending will lead you to needing to pick up the next and (according to what I have scene)the last book of the series. A great tale of searching, growing, transition, and action. The main characters are in a bind they must get out of if they want to not just save themselves but also save their town.
