Explanation In Pursuance Of Books Elijah (Nightwalkers #3)
They are called the Demons, one of the elusive Nightwalker races living in shadow and struggling for survival against their human enemies. Their proudest warrior is Elijah, a man who bends for nothing and no one...until one woman brings him to his knees...
Some Feelings You Just Can't Fight
He is known as the Warrior Captain--a master of every weapon, a fierce soldier sworn to protect his kind. Powerful, relentless, merciless, Elijah has always won every battle he's ever taken on--until now. Ambushed by necromancers, he is left for dead only to be discovered by the woman who could very well deliver the final blow...Siena, the Lycanthrope Queen.
With three centuries of warring, little more than a decade of uneasy peace has existed between the Lycanthropes and Elijah's people. Now, after a lifetime of suspicion, the warrior in Elijah is consumed with a different battle--winning Siena's heart by giving her pleasure beyond all boundaries. What starts as attraction and arousal soon burns into a passion with consequences that will echo through the ages for both their people. And as would-be enemies become inseparable lovers, another threat approaches, one with the power to destroy them all...
Surrender to the night.

Once again, Jacquelyn Frank delivers a book that could reheat my tea without the benefit of a microwave. Whoo. Elijah is, in a word, steamy. In this third installment in the Nightwalkers series, the lycanthropes take center stage through Siena, the race's leonine queen. When Siena saves Elijah, the Demon Warrior Chief, from an attack by necromancers, he is nearly dead. She nurses him back to health, and in the process, the two are unable to fight their powerful attraction to one another.2 Stars *Spoilers*Ok let me start out by saying WTF!!!!! This book would have been a 4 or 5 star book if not for one thing! Only one thing made me give this book such a low rating and that is the Heroine!!!!! I hated Siena in this book, which I didn't see coming because I loved her in the other book.I loved Elijah, loved the plot, loved everything , but Siena..... Siena ruined the whole damn book for me!Elijah was Understanding, sweet, strong, and sexy. He put up with Siena's insults, baby
Book: C+Narration: B+Book three in the Nightwalkers series is the story of Elijah, Demon Warrior Captain extraordinaire, and Siena, the Lycanthrope Queen. See all those capitals in that sentence? That is what Jacquelyn Franks writing is like for me: emphatic, a little bigger than life, sometimes a little too important sounding, but at the same time quite fun. This audiobook made for an excellent weekend listen while I got on with the mundane tasks of life. After almost losing his life in a

Elijah a Wind Demon, the Warrior Captain of the Demon armies he defends his race and his King against all enemies and up till the last decade he has spent last couple of centuries protecting Demons from the attacks of the insane Lycanthrope King. The new Queen, Siena, is determined not to give into their mutual need for one another. Although Siena is the one who ended the mad war with the Demons, how can she allow the man her people call the Demon Butcher be their King?Much like with Gideon, the
This is an interesting premise, an interesting universe. The characters even have some nice points. But I am afraid I just do not like Jacquelyn Frank's voice. She uses lots and lots of big words. while I have nothing against big words per se, when they're all piled together in one huge heap of wordiness, my head tends to explode, my eyes start to cross (worse than usual) and I start skimming. In this story, Elijah is a big, bad demon warleader who gets ambushed by traitor demons and human
Wow, I have fallen head over heals in love with the Nightwalker series. Or maybe just Elijah... Where Gideon was very romantic with long years of unknown yearning and deep seated emotion, Elijah is packed with raw passion and need. It really packs a punch. I love how the Demons have become so clear in my mind and they are all so different from each other, with very defined character traits. It has taken me a little while to get used to the writing in this series, but now I am totally with it.
