The Gramm Curse is a prequel novella to Everlasting, the first book in Candace Knoebels Night Watchman Series. I really enjoyed this book. Its a great story, but its the characters that make it stand out for me. The book journeys into the mind of the dark and brooding Jaxen Gramm before he meets heroine Faye Middleton. Jaxen is a compelling character who takes everything his volatile life throws at him, and holds onto enough integrity to make him really likeable. The Gramm family is cursed.

Good startIt was a nice start to anew series. It let you get to know the characters of the story with getting into to much detail.
