Night Star (The Immortals #5)
I'm still not a fan of this series, I just keep reading it, because I started it. And I wouldn't recommend it ot a friend. I can't describe it excactly why but I always have the feeling, that it is annoying, the whole plot and most of the characters. the only two characters I like are Jude and Miles, but they are not so often mentioned in the book. The story about Damen and Ever is sometimes really boring and I just can't feel with them, also the part with summerland -> that's keeping rolling
When I first saw the cover, I thought, "Wow, is she finally going to get that stupid antidote?"[image error]Chuck Testa.
This series has never been on the top of my reading list. They're strictly mind-numbing brain candy, and truly, that's all they've ever been and ever will be. The biggest problem is that this series stems from a very weak main conflict. The two main characters are sexually frustrated teenagers who cannot touch one another due to some poison, and consequently, this leads to a bunch of awkward euphemisms about how the two can't have sex. It's kind of hard to take any of these novels seriously when
This was a YA paranormal romance story which carried on from the previous book.Ever was an okay character in this, she started to get a bit reckless with her powers at times though. One day someone is going to catch her manifesting BMWs in the street and shes going to struggle to explain what she was doing. The storyline in this was about Haven trying to get revenge on Ever and Damen for their part in Romans death, and about Ever trying to get hold of Romans shirt in an effort to recreate the
Meh... I'm beginning to seriously hate these books. Not that the first 4 were amazing, but the first one wasn't bad... then they all go downhill from there IMHO. How long is the author going to drag out this Ever can't touch Damon crap? I mean, geesh!! Give it a rest already!! As if them being able to touch will automatically create this happily ever after ending we've all been waiting for. It's getting completely ridiculous! So once again, Ever sees something from her past that Damon kept from
Yay! Damen and Ever! Still amazing, loverly little novels in the Immortals series!! In "Night Star", the focus was on Ever and Damen's current relationship, and their trust issues after she learns that in one of her past lives she was a slave in the Southern US and that Damen bought her and not her family. He kept this information, and some more information like this too, by editing it out while at Summerland. Also, Ever is having difficulties with Haven who still believes that Ever killed Roman

Haven still blames Ever for the death of her boyfriend Roman, no matter how hard Ever’s tried to convince her it was an accident. Now she’s determined to take Ever down…and destroy Damen and Jude along the way. Her first step is to tear Ever and Damen apart—and she has just the ammunition to do it. Hidden in one of Ever’s past lives is a terrible secret about Damen—a secret that illuminates new facts about her relationship with Jude, but that’s so dark and brutal it might be enough to drive her and Damen apart once and for all. As Ever faces her greatest fears about the guy she wants to spend eternity with, she’s thrust into a deadly clash with Haven that could destroy them all. Now it’ll take everything she’s got—and bring out powers she never knew she had—to face down her most formidable enemy. But in order to win, she must first ask herself: is her own survival worth dooming Haven to an eternity of darkness in the Shadowland? And will learning the truth about Damen’s past hold the key to their future?Itemize Out Of Books Night Star (The Immortals #5)

I actually found myself liking this book so much better than the last one. Ive read some mixed reviews on here and I dont feel that they are all right. Mostly Ive heard that there has not been even a tiny bit of resolution in the story line. Well thats not really true while they still dont have the antidote some things have progressed. I think Ever has finally started acting like an adult. Although it happened almost halfway through the book it was still a big step forward.
