Alone and desperately trying to escape his past, Tristan continues to flee the life he left behind in the fickle hope that he will find a safe haven, but perhaps escape and safety isn’t that easy to find …

The second book in the popular supernatural series Blue River Chronicles; The Change continues the chronicle of Tristan as he seeks a place to belong, a place where he can learn to accept and control what it means to be a werewolf half-breed, and he hopes to find a refuge in a sleepy town in the middle of nowhere. But even sleepy towns have their own mysteries. Tristan finds out that it is not so easy to escape relationships and love, and perhaps Juliet is just the person to show him how he can make a life for himself, but darker forces and dangers always lurk just around the corner and Tristan cannot escape the changes that he will have to face.

ARGGG... THAT ENDING! It was one of those endings where the conflict has been resolved and the character is in a place where things can get better and that's it. The end. You're left fantasizing about situations and possibilities. It's like getting a taste of a juicy sirloin without seeing or devouring it for a long.Aside from the ending that has left me agonizing over possibilities, the book was well-written. It started out at a bit of a faster pace than the first book before amping up again.

I do however with the author would explain more, which is why I gave it four stars. I also think I like River more than Tristan, but I don't want to give any spoilers. It's both a slow,

The second book in this series of The Blue River Chronicles - The Change is even better than the first. You follow Tristan as he stumbles on alone. Hungry, dirty and homeless he walks into a small town where suddenly a home and a job is thrust upon him. He goes from being all alone to having friends, and even a love interest. We see Tristan bloom into a more confident, happier person as this town and the people give him stability and security. But of course, as with all good stories - this can't
