She also writes many teen books, including the Diary of a Teenage Girl series, the TrueColors series, and the Carter House Girls series. Melody was nominated for a Romantic Times Career Achievement Award in theI really enjoyed this book way more than the others.
This is by far one of my most favourite books. This gives you a very interesting perspective into the life of someone who is rich and lives with multiple other people. There are problems and fights and such that are addressed in this book plus it is written around religion and christianity which I think definitely makes it better.
MY REVIEW:Spring Breakdown is the 7th in Melody Carlson's Carter House Girls series. To be honest, had I realized it was that far along in the series, I probably would have started with the first and worked my way up. The book did not make me feel like I did not know what was going on, but I would have preferred getting a clearer picture of the characters.I always enjoy revisiting teen life via a good book. Reading about DJ and the other Carter House Girls adventures brought me back in that way.

And on that bombshell, on to the last book in this great series.
I am glad my library finally got this book in. I think the Carter House girls series is getting more interesting as it moves towards the end. This book wasn't full of take home lessons, but I enjoyed the story and I'm looking forward to the next (and final?) installment.
