But Once I continued to read on I easily overlooked that as I watched the life of Netty and her brutal rapes and how she ran away from her abusive husband to start over with her rightful inheritance. I bought this book from amazon.Baby 6609 by JK AccinniI totally loved the story and the characters. LOVE BABY!!! I did not foresee any of the events that took place halfway through the book to the end. What The Heck!! This story is very original and unique. It is a mix of the early 1940's with sci-fi twist. There is also tragedy, happiness, and other things that make this book GREAT! I for the life of me could not put it done and kept thinking about the scenes and the ending. I'm dying to read
i got this book on Amazon on one of the free days, i just finished it last night, and i could Not put it down!it had me laughing, it had me crying, it just Had me enthralled. I absolutely loved this book!! It was original and inventive and beautifully written. The character of Netty is a woman of her time. She survives horrible injustices and still holds true her own ideals and all in the late 20's and early 30's of rural New Jersey. J.K. Accinni draws a beautiful portrait of the locale and the people who live there. The character know as Baby reminds me of a little cute and loving Gremlin. The girl character, Netty, has had a hard life.
