Finished this book in a sitting. This type of genre will never be my cup of tea (despite having this teen-lit phase in middle school just like everyone else). I can't stand all of the pretentious sh*t happening in the story.But I guess it's just because this is not the author's best work. Will probably give another shot for the author's best writing.

Nothing is more romantic and touching than Ilana Tan's works.

I would love to give a 5 stars, as well as the rest of Ilana's books, but I just can't. I finish this book kn couple of months, that didnt happen before, which was a read-till-finish ones. This book still have some 'cliche coincidence' thing like Sophie's grandpa apparently at the hospital just at the time Lucas need to talk to her. Or things like the cafe Sophie and Adrian used to visit is just across the Ramses. Well, sometimes that sounds sweet, but for me it's kinda not fit.But she still awe
