Representaion Toward Books Imagine: John Lennon

Having not seen the documentary that is meant to accompany this book, I can't say that I experienced the full extent that this book was surely meant to encompass. The photos and quotes were easy to appreciate in their quality and candidness, but when given the focus of only John Lennon (in comparison to the intertwining story of the entire Beatles group) the book comes off as more of an ode to his relationship with Yoko Ono. Sure, it defined much of his later life, and influenced his artistic career, but do we really need a whole book with the underlying message of "Yoko didn't break up the Beatles"?

I've read a plethora of Beatle bios. This one really highlights Lennon's personal story.

A nice companion to the documentary (which was EXCELLENT). But, I'm a huge JL fan and pretty much love everything about him.

For Beatles (especially Lennon) lovers only, otherwise don't waste your time.

One question why put the name of the psycho who murdered John in this book? He only did to be famous his name should be erased from history. It is a fascinating and informative read, thanks Yoko.
