Narrative Conducive To Books Under Different Stars (Kricket #1)

Kricket Hollowell is normally not one to wish upon stars; she believes they’re rarely in her favor. Well versed at dodging caseworkers from Chicago’s foster care system, the past few years on her own have made Kricket an expert at the art of survival and blending in. With her 18th birthday fast approaching, she dreams of the day when she can stop running and find what her heart needs most: a home. Trey Allairis hates Earth and doubts that anyone from his world can thrive here. What he’s learning of Kricket and her existence away from her true home only confirms his theory. But, when he and Kricket lie together under the stars of Ethar, counting them all may be easier than letting her go. Kyon Ensin’s secrets number the stars; he knows more about Kricket's gifts than anyone and plans to possess her because of them. He also knows she’s more valuable than any fire in the night sky. He’ll move the heavens and align them all in order to make her his own. When everything in their world can be broken, will Kricket rely upon love to save her under different stars?

Assessment Regarding Books Under Different Stars (Kricket #1)
Actual rating 2.5 stars.I don't know... the jury is still out.I am moving on to the next installment.

Even though it isn't my usual genre, I've found myself reading a fair amount of paranormal YA books recently. Maybe I needed to change it up a bit to get out of a rut, or maybe it's just coincidental. Either way, there is something that has drawn me to this genre as of late and I'm working my way through many books that have been waiting for me on my TBR list for quite some time.'Under Different Stars' is by far, one of the best books that I've run across in this genre. The heroine, Kricket, is

UGH!I loved everything about this book. I've seen this book pop on my recommendation list for my Kindle for like ever.. and I'm kind of shocked that I FINALLY took a chance on it. I'm freaking hooked guys and I was not prepared to feel these god damns feelings at all.I loved Kricket. I loved Trey. I fucking shipped the fucking shit out of those two. Throw in Kyon and I'm rooting even more for those two - screw Kyon. I wish I could be friends with someone like Kricket, well .. no. I'd like to be

SQUEEEE!!!Another AMY BARTOL work of artME SCREAMING!!!ME VERY EMOTIONAL FANGIRLINGoh my this book is definitely a must read!!!

I was very hesitant to read this book for two reasons 1. I was sort of mad at Amy for writing this one before Iniquity. I am a big Premonition fan it is one of my absolute favorite series, I just could not understand why write THIS BOOK, when Iniquity was supposed to be finished a while ago. 2. I dont like to wait I am impatient, and want to fully enjoy a series one book right after the other. I did not want to get sucked into another series that I would have to WAIT to see what happens next.

Welp. Another case of pretty cover and terrible book has struck me again. Kricket is a super special girl. She has special powers, special eye color, special hair color, special name and spelling of said name. She's really beautiful, but doesn't know it and every guy wants her body for himself... some as old as dirt! She's also The One at the center of a prophecy her super special mom prophesized long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away. Are you rolling your eyes yet? Never have I read a book
