AudiobookedSince it's so long ago that I read these books I can't really say much about them, but I will try. I began reading these in class when I was about ten, though this isn't when I got into them. Darren's weird was of writing without scaring anyone but adding a sort of creeping feeling was amazing. I think that anyone could read these books, as I started when I was ten and didn't carry on reading, and started again when I was fourteen and loved it. These books are still among my favourites list and
This was a great book. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I first read the Saga of Darren Shan when I started year 7, I found the books in the corner of the school library just begging to be read. My friend recommended them so I didn't think twice about it, I picked the books up and read the entire series within a week. Darren is such a good character to be the narrator of the story. Of course this is a vampire book, and it follows vampires (half and full vampires) and another species of vampire called the vampaneze (half and full). The vampires are
Love, Love, Love again! But I have to say, the scene in the tunnels at the end of 'Killers of the Dawn' gets me every single time! Damn you Mr Shan, damn you!5 out of 5 stars!
Personally I think this book deserves to be in a 100 best books list because I really struggled whist reading this to put it down, it was almost like the book was glued to my hands! This trilogy is one, not to be missed and I think the other two trilogies leading to this one give this trilogy a much needed boost in the story line and plot. I enjoyed reading this and would suggest that you read this ASAP!I can't really write much as most of the books content is spoilers to the other trilogies. So
This is a truly wonderful series and I seriously recommend picking them up. Each of the books are pretty short, so going for these collections of three stories youre getting much better value for your money and much more fun with each book.If youre a vampire fan, if you want something other than vampire romance, jump on this now!
