Interpretation In Favor Of Books An Elephant Is On My House: And Other Poems

A few years back I began writing poetry and short stories as projects with my mother after she suffered a massive stroke. Things seemed pretty hopeless following this terrible tragedy. My mother had been here for me my entire life and I was determined that I would see her through this and be there for her. I started caregiving for my mom so she could live at home and with many blessings from God and the inner strength my mother retained she made astounding leaps and bounds in her recovery! Although mom will never be one hundred percent, she is going strong with confidence and full of love for life! An Elephant Is On My House is a collection of the aforementioned poems I wrote for mom. It also contains some illustrations that we did together for these poems. We hope you enjoy our book just as we have enjoyed working on it together. It represents a time in my life that I shared with my mother that I will cherish forever. Therefore, I give it five stars. Thank you.
